Student Council

The Student Council plays a very important role in every school.  They help share students’ ideas, interests, and concerns with the teachers and principal.  They help the students raise funds for school wide projects.  They assist the community when they are in need of aid.  Being on Student Council is something that will help our students become responsible and active members of the community.

Representatives:

-Attend weekly meetings
-Meet with classmates to discuss ideas and concerns 
-Work at special events 
-Complete an individual service project
-Serve as a positive role model to other students 

Their classmates elect student council representatives. Students in the 2nd grade may also decide to rotate to be part of the Student Council Leadership Team.

3. Planning school building events

4. Community Services

 

Student Council/ MOVIE NIGHT 

"The Tooth Fairy"

We will holding another Movie Night for Friday, May 7 at 6:30-8:30.  Student Council will be selling concessions.  Come join the fun!

Monthly Flyers Pizza Night

Flyers Pizza as set up with our school once a month fundraiser nights.  All you have to do is go for pizza (or order for deliver) and mention Groveport Community Schools and a percent of the total sales will go towards our Student Council Fund.  The first Pizza Night begins February 24th, you can either go there or come to the movie night and buy the pizza we are selling.  Thanks for your help.
