ABOUT OUR SCHOOL

Groveport Community School opened its doors on September 5, 2006, serving students in grades K-4. During the 08-09 school year the school opened its doors to students K-8.  We have a very active parent group, and we love to have parents visit our school. We want parents to be involved and to let us know how we are doing. Our main objective is to provide a qualitative learning experience for students, while partnering with parents to help their child explore creativity and expression, learning to adopt healthy lifestyles. We meet this objective by teaching and modeling the shared values of “integrity, justice and, fun”. Groveport Community School has partnerships with various area businesses, and work closely with the school’s Board of Directors to provide activities and services for all our students and staff. As we approach our fourth year of operation servicing well over 1000 students, grades K through 8, we look forward to another exciting and progressive year improving the communities in which we serve “one child at a time”.
