Dear Imagine Family,

Again, we would like to welcome you to our Imagine family.  We look forward to working together as partners in educating your child and we are excited to begin a new school year providing each child with new challenges that will result in a rewarding school experience.  Academic emphasis on the core content areas of reading, language arts, science, social studies, and math will remain a priority, as well as, providing a learning program that builds on each year to reach local and state standards. 

As educators we are proud to serve parents and students as you direct your child’s education. Helping students meet mastery of the Ohio Academic Content Standards will continue to be our top priority this year. Teachers utilize these standards to prepare creative, disciplined, and high achieving lesson. This year we will be continuing to utilize Saxon Math to build upon students skills in Math. Additionally, we are utilizing a new language arts resource titled “Imagine It”. We will also be utilizing the on-line resources of Reading A-Z, FOCUS Ohio, and Study Island across the curriculum.

Each year we work very hard to improve upon the services we have to offer our Imagine Families. One such improvement is the utilization of standard based grade cards. We have provided  information on page two  that explains  the standard based grading system and the benefits it will offer to enhance our communication of students ability and success. Additionally, in an effort to increase communication, in regards to student performance, we have coordinated a six grading period calendar this school year. Communication and transparency is a priority at Imagine schools and we welcome your help, questions, and presence.

As we continue to grow as an Imagine family we hope to utilize our efforts and resources to continually offer spectacular opportunities for learning. Please visit our school website or look for this monthly publication  in your child’s backpacks to learn more about what is happening at the school.
